Roots Coffee and Tea

If you do want a hipster coffeeshop experience in North Buffalo, Roots is the place to come — especially if you agree with the one reviewer who said "robust and bold isn't the only way coffee can succeed"; the flavor of the house brew is light, subtle, and almost tea-like. Plus, aside from the two titular beverages, they also serve a selection of craft beer from around the region, pastries from the Blue Eyed Baker, and kombucha on tap. Best of all, the quiet, mellow vibe doesn't translate into lackadaisical service: Roots takes care of their customers in a way that's quick and efficient, but still friendly.
