Moriarty Meats

Vino's may be no more, but the torch has been passed to a whole new purveyor of tasty goodness on upper Elmwood. Thomas and Caitlin Moriarty got their start on the West Side, performing "artisan-tailored whole-animal butchery" in the traditional French manner (Thomas is a proud graduate of the École nationale superieure des metiers de la viande in Paris) using locally-sourced beef, pork and lamb, then in 2020 they "moved on up" to their brand-new (and much larger!) space and expanded their opening hours too. Fine house-made bacon and sausage abound as well — everyone loves their merguez! — and prices are a lot more reasonable than you might be expecting.
