Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill

Simultaneously a half-block off Chippewa and seemingly of a different time and world than the trendy downtown nightlife scene, the vibe at Sidelines is that of a where-everybody-knows-your-name neighborhood sports bar. No pretension to be found here: the beer menu incorporates a few local quaffs from the likes of Big Ditch and Hamburg Brewing but otherwise mostly sticks to big brands like Labatt's and Michelob; the food menu is chock-full of classics of Buffalo cuisine like wings and beef on weck; there's a short list of specialty cocktails on hand if you want to get a little cutesy.
