Buffalo Tap House

Forget the dance clubs of twenty years ago: if you want a real throwback, the Tap House is on hand to show you what your grandparents' Chippewa Street was like. It's a dimly lit dive populated by a friendly and down-to-earth clientele, sporting a food menu of classic pub grub sans any pretentious bells and whistles (beef on weck is a favorite) and a vibe that's old-school through and through. The one area where the Tap House does strut and swagger a bit is on its beer list, with over 30 taps pouring craft brews from around Western New York and the wider Great Lakes region.
