Walk up to Lindenhof, the historic hill in the heart of the old town. Find a spot near the edge to enjoy the beautiful view of the city. This location was once a Roman fort and offers one of the best vantage points in Zurich.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light from 16:12 will have already bathed the old town in a warm glow, culminating in the sunset at 17:01.

End your evening with dinner at Zunfthaus Zur Waag. This authentic Swiss high-end restaurant is very close to Lindenhof. To ensure your meal does not get cold, they split your order into two plates and bring them to you one at a time.
Local tip
The walk from Bierhalle Wolf to Lindenhof is short and easy. If you prefer a quieter start, Orell Füssli bookshop is also nearby if you want to browse before heading up the hill.
