Step into the Art Dock Zürich at opening time. The gallery is housed in an old goods station, showcasing exhibitions primarily by Zurich-based artists. Arriving at 13:00 lets you explore the space before the afternoon crowd builds up.

Walk to the Kronenhalle, the city's most famous restaurant where the glitterati go to see and be seen. Order the heavenly chocolate mousse or some good Swiss food. The atmosphere is defined by original artwork by famous Swiss and European artists hanging on the walls.

Head up to Lindenhof, the hill in the heart of the old town. It was once the location of a Roman fort and now offers a beautiful view of the city. It is a perfect spot to rest your legs and take in the historic surroundings.
Local tip
The Kronenhalle is a high-end spot. To ensure your meal does not get cold, they split your order into 2 plates and bring you one at a time. The Art Dock is open Wednesday to Sunday from 13:00 to 19:00.
