Morning coffee and a walk through Yerevan's parks

Start your day with a quiet coffee in a courtyard café, then stroll through two of the city’s oldest green spaces.

Best time: noneAbout 90 min

Timeline

  1. 08:00

    Prepa

Grab a coffee and a sweet bite at Prepa. The café opens at 08:00, so arriving an hour before the moment gives you a quiet seat and a fresh drink to go.

  2. 08:30

    Children's Park

Walk 8 minutes NNW to Children's Park. This Soviet-era park sits in a gorgeous canyon of the Hrazdan river and features a miniature railway for children. It is a peaceful spot to stretch your legs early in the day.

  3. 09:00

    English park

Continue 4 minutes NNW to English Park. As one of Yerevan's oldest parks, it is smaller in size but still popular with couples for wedding photographs. The late morning light is soft here, perfect for a brief pause before heading back.

Local tip

The walk between the parks is short and easy. If you prefer a sit-down meal instead of a pastry, Elie's Lahmajun (5 min walk from anchor) is open from 10:00, or Mirzoyan Library (7 min walk) offers creative bites and free wifi.

  • Prepa opens at 08:00.
