Start your bicycle tour at the Yulong River valley. Access the track by turning west into a small road from the main Yangshuo bypass road, just south of the Sinopec petrol station at the junction of Pantao Rd. You can also reach it via the road to Jinbao from Baisha town if you are coming from the north. The track runs beside the river and connects to many alleys.
09:45
Cycle along the riverside track. The path takes you through farming villages and past several stone bridges. Be aware that the track is complicated and easy to get lost on, so keep an eye on the river and the bridges as landmarks.
10:45
Stop for a snack or light lunch in one of the farming villages along the route. Since there are no specific food or drink shops listed in the immediate vicinity, look for local stalls or small eateries in the villages you pass through.
11:30
Continue your ride to Fuli Qiao or Yulong Qiao for a closer look at the stone architecture and the river. These bridges are key features of the valley and offer good spots to rest and take in the scenery before heading back.
Local tip
The cycling track is complicated and it is easy to get lost. Stick to the riverside path and use the stone bridges as reference points. There are no specific opening hours for the valley itself, but starting early in the morning or late afternoon can help you avoid the heat and the busiest times.
