Best time: 15 JanAbout 180 min

Timeline

  1. 13:34

    Сквер Добрососедства

Walk to Skver Dobrososedstva for a quiet start. It is the closest park to the museum, just a short stroll east. The square is small and peaceful, a good place to stretch your legs before the main event.

  2. 14:49

    Korea House

Head to Korea House for a pre-sunset snack. This Chinese restaurant with a Korean menu is open late and offers excellent service. The business lunch is reasonably priced, but even if you miss the lunch window, the portions are manageable and the interior is nicely done.

  3. 15:34

МАУ "Центральный парк культуры и отдыха"

Find your spot at MAU "Tsentralny Park Kul'tury i Otdokha" (Central Park) to watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the SW, casting a warm glow over the park. It is a 26-minute walk from the museum, so arrive early enough to secure a good view.

  4. 16:34

    Fujiyama

Dinner at Fujiyama. After the sun goes down, head to Yakutsk's first and still best sushi restaurant. The menu is focused, and while other Japanese items might not impress experts, the sushi is top-tier. It is open until 23:00, so you have time to linger.

  5. 17:34

    Gurme

End the night with a drink at Gurme. This is the best place for traditional Yakutian delicacies and European dishes. The service is excellent, and the interior is nicely done. Note that it closes at 20:00 on Sundays, so check the day you visit.
