Walk to the Qujiang Sightseeing Monorail. Board the train for the ~45-minute loop. Aim to be on the right side of the carriage as it passes over Qujiang Pool Heritage Park (Nanhu) during the golden hour window.

Get off the monorail and walk 7 minutes to Qujiang Lake Site Park. This is the perfect spot to watch the sun dip below the horizon over the water and Tang-style architecture.
Local tip
The monorail ride is roughly 45 minutes long. Check the route if you need to return to your starting point after the park.
