Walk through the grounds of Dalnavert Museum. The late afternoon light is soft and the historic home is quiet before the evening rush.

Head to Toad in the Hole Pub. It is open from 12:00, so you can grab a pre-dinner drink or just browse the 160 whiskies in the new bar while you wait for the light to change.

Return to the street outside Dalnavert. Stand facing west as the sun sets at 16:55. The sky turns WSW, casting long shadows over the historic district.

Walk to Affinity Vegetarian Garden for dinner. It opens at 17:00, which is just after sunset. Enjoy Chinese and vegetarian dishes, including creative imitations of seafood.

Finish the evening back at Toad in the Hole Pub. It stays open until 22:00. Stay for a final drink, listen to the live music in the basement, or play darts.
Local tip
Dalnavert Museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. In January, it closes at 4PM, so arrive early if you want to go inside before the sunset.
