Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Gardens in Jackson Park
Walk the sunken gardens before the crowds arrive. The terraced flower beds and former reflecting pool are best appreciated in the late afternoon light, before the sun begins its final descent.

Stop for a drink at the Walkerville Brewery. It is a short walk from the gardens. Check the hours to ensure they are open for your visit. You can buy beer by the glass or bottle.

Head to Willistead Park to watch the sunset. The park is located just east of downtown and offers a view of the historic Willistead Manor. The sun sets toward the WSW, providing a clear view of the sky changing colors over the neighborhood.
Local tip
The brewery offers tours on Saturdays between 12:30 PM and 5 PM, but you can simply buy beer without a tour. Check the opening hours for your specific day of visit.
