Arrive at Bakkai Port Seal Observatory. The observation hut is open from 09:00, but you can walk the 15–20 minutes from Bakkai halt (W78) to get your position early. The seals are active regardless of the hour.

Watch the sunrise. At 07:09 the sun breaks the horizon, casting golden light on the concrete boulders where the seals rest.

Enjoy the free self-service tea provided in the hut while the morning light settles in.
Local tip
The observatory opens at 09:00. If you arrive before then, you can still view the port area, but the indoor hut with tea will be closed until opening time.
