Timeline

  1. 09:00

Church of St Constantine and St Michael

Arrive at the Church of St Constantine and St Michael as it opens. The 1913 onion-domed building is small enough to take in fully without a crowd, and the morning light inside is soft. Check the hours to ensure it is open.

  2. 09:20

    Fėjų kepyklėlė

Walk three minutes to Fėjų kepyklėlė. This bakery-cafe is the closest spot for a snack. The pastries and snacks are a quick fuel stop before you head out. It opens at 07:30 so it will be ready.

  3. 09:50

    Presidential Palace

Walk eighteen minutes east to the Presidential Palace. It is an 18th-century building that serves as the seat of the President. You can walk around the exterior to see the architecture. Guided tours are only available at weekends, but the public can view the grounds on Open House days.

Local tip
