Walk 12 minutes ENE to Szigetcsúcs. The beach turns into a vast expanse of sand and gravel when the water is low. It is a perfect spot to spread out a blanket and watch the river flow.

Head to Szigetcsúcs Terasz Kisoroszi to watch the sunset. The bar is positioned to face WSW, giving you a direct view of the sun dipping below the horizon.
Local tip
Check the water levels before you go. The large sand and gravel beds at Szigetcsúcs only appear during low water periods.
