Grab a coffee and a slice of cake at Konditori Fågelsången. The large outdoor seating area faces the pretty Swan's pond, giving you a front-row seat to the changing light. It is the perfect place to settle in before the sun dips low.
15:21
Walk to the open-air stage at Parksnäckan. As the sun sets toward the southwest, the park transforms. You can sit on the benches or the grass and watch the sky turn. The bar is open, so you can grab a cold drink to enjoy the final moments of daylight.
16:06
Head to Bryggeriet Ångkvarn for dinner and a beer. As the only brewpub in Uppsala, it offers a warm, industrial atmosphere with the brewery visible behind the bar. It is a great spot to warm up after the chill of the evening park.
Local tip
Konditori Fågelsången is open until 19:00 on weekdays and 18:00 on weekends. Since sunset is at 15:21 in January, you have plenty of time for cake before it closes. Bryggeriet Ångkvarn opens at 16:00 on weekdays, so you will arrive just as they open for the evening service.
Check before you go
- Check the daily schedule at Parksnäckan if you want to catch a specific musical concert, as they offer a busy schedule in summer. In winter, it is primarily a scenic spot.
