Walk the short distance to the National Amusement Park. This steel-framed park features a roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, and a castle surrounded by an artificial lake. It is the best spot in the area to catch the view as the sun sets toward the WSW.

Watch the sunset. On January 15, the sun sets at 17:25. The golden light begins around 16:35, giving you a warm glow over the park's lake and castle before the final dip.

End the evening with a warm bowl of ramen at Takesan Miso Ramen. It is located very close to the park (8 minutes walk) and serves until midnight, making it a perfect late spot after the cold evening air.
Local tip
The park is open late, but the restaurants nearby close at different times. Takesan Ramen stays open until 00:00, which is convenient after sunset.
