Grab a bite at Tejsza Restaurant. It is the only nearby eatery with confirmed hours that will be open in the late afternoon (Mo-Sa 11:00-18:00). Order something from their Jewish and regional menu to fuel up before the walk.

Walk to Tykocin Castle. Spend some time in the courtyard or climb the tower for a preliminary view of the Narew valley. The castle is located on the north bank, just a short stroll from where you ate.

Watch the sun set toward the SW. The golden light will be fading, but the view over the river and the historic town is calm and atmospheric. If the water levels allow, you might see the Malinka boat, but the main event is the light hitting the landscape.

End your evening at Pierogi na Narwi. This seasonal floating restobar is right by the harbour. If it is open, enjoy handmade pierogi and coffee while overlooking the river and the illuminated historic Tykocin. Check if it is open outside the main summer season.
Local tip
