Timeline

  1. 11:58

    Impivaaran jäähalli

Skate the public session at Impivaaran jäähalli. It is an indoor ice field open for general skating when not in use for hockey. The session runs from 16:45 to 17:35, which fits perfectly before the evening light fades.

  2. 15:28

    Kipparin Kulaus

Walk eight minutes to Kipparin Kulaus for a pre-sunset drink. This pub is open until 22:00 on weekdays, giving you time to settle in and watch the sky darken from the outside or a quiet corner.

  3. 15:58

    Impivaaran jäähalli

Head back to Impivaaran jäähalli or stay nearby to watch the sunset at 15:58. The sun sets toward the SW. If you are still at the ice hall, the large windows offer a view. If you stayed at the pub, step outside to catch the final golden light.

  4. 17:28

    JukuPark Waterpark

End the night at JukuPark Waterpark. It is only a five-minute walk from the ice hall and open until late. You can soak in the warm water while the city lights reflect on the surface, a perfect way to unwind after skating and drinking.

Local tip

Check the bus schedule for line 45 or 10 if you need to return to the center after JukuPark. The ice session is strictly timed, so arrive early to rent skates.
