Grab a coffee and a sweet treat at Fjellstua. It is a café near the Cable Car with hours from 10:00 to 23:30, so it is open well before sunset.

Take the Cable Car up Mount Storsteinen. The ride offers a fantastic view from 421 metres above sea level. Check the route for the latest schedule as times may vary.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. On 15 October the sun sets at 17:03. The view from the top is amazing and the low winter sun stays low all day, creating a unique atmosphere.

Head back down and walk to Fjellstua again for a nightcap or to finish your snack. The café stays open until 23:30, giving you plenty of time to relax after the descent.
Local tip
The Cable Car runs until 24:00, but the last descent to catch the sunset should be planned carefully. If you miss the exact minute, the view remains stunning in the twilight that follows.
