Start with a cocktail at the Lighthouse Lounge. It is just a short walk from the new lighthouse and opens at 11:00, so you have plenty of time to settle in before the crowds arrive.

Walk to the top of the new lighthouse on the Mole. This is your vantage point. The structure delimits the navigation channel and offers an unobstructed view of the sky to the west. Position yourself on the summit to catch the final minutes of daylight.

Watch the sun set toward the NW. In mid-summer, the golden light peaks around 20:44, but the actual sunset at 21:40 provides a dramatic finale. Stay here until the light fades completely.

End the night at the Ostseelounge. It is an eight-minute walk from the lighthouse along the beach. The lounge offers live music and stays open until 01:00, making it the perfect spot to linger after the sunset.
Local tip
The lighthouse is open to visitors during the day, but check the route for access if you are not staying at the nearby Hotel Maritim.
