Walk up to Kalepark Fortress. The 32-minute walk from the anchor is a steady climb. Arrive with half an hour to spare to find a good vantage point. The sun sets toward the WSW, which aligns with the fortress view.

Watch the sunset. At 17:17 the sun dips below the horizon. The golden light from 16:34 will have already warmed the stone ruins of the 'beautiful castle' built by the Genoese.

Local tip
The fortress is a ruin, so wear sturdy shoes for the walk up. Şişman is open late if you want to stay longer.
