Walk nine minutes to Xiaohau Seafood for a light breakfast. The kitchen opens at 11:00, but you can arrive early to secure a table or just enjoy the fresh seafood atmosphere as they prep. If you prefer coffee and light bites, Crown House is a casual option nearby that opens at 12:00, but for a full morning start, the seafood spot is the local favorite.

Head to Toucheng Sports Park. It is a 23-minute walk from the harbor. This park offers a elevated view of the coastline and a peaceful green space to stretch your legs and watch the boats move in the distance.
Local tip
The sunrise is early in January. Check the route for transport if you are not walking, as the walk to the sports park is long. Crown House and Lucas Bistro are good for later in the day, but for a morning plan, the harbor and the park are the key stops.
