Walk to the Military Tunnels. This 800-meter historical relic offers a cool respite from the island heat. It is a pleasant, shaded walk through Guishan Island's military past.

Begin the hike up Hill 401. This one-hour trek leads to the highest point on the island, 398 meters up, where you will find a 3-meter-high bunker and sweeping views. Remember to bring your registration confirmation.

Advance registration is required for Hill 401. Ensure you have your booking ready before starting the hike.
