Walk down to Da-xi Honeymoon Bay. This is the famous entry point to Toucheng. Stroll along the sand, look out for Turtle Island in the distance, and enjoy the open sea breeze.

Head to the 觀日台 (Sun Viewing Platform). It is a 59-minute walk from the bay, so factor in that time. The platform offers a elevated perspective of the coastline and the bay you just visited.
Local tip
The walk from the bay to the viewing platform is long. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
