Timeline

  1. 17:15

    Flower's

Pick up a simple lunch or early dinner at Flower's. The daily menu and à-la-carte options are affordable, and you will get free water and bread just like the locals. It is a short walk from the mosaic, so you can arrive with time to spare.

  2. 17:40

    Tirana Mosaic

Walk to the Tirana Mosaic. This is the only archaeological site in the city, where excavations revealed a village that existed thousands of years ago. Arrive before sunset to find a quiet spot among the artifacts as the sun begins to dip toward the WSW.

  3. 18:00

    Tirana Mosaic

Watch the sunset. The light fades over the ancient tiles as the sun sets toward the WSW. The site is small, so you will not be lost in a crowd, allowing for a calm moment to reflect on the history beneath your feet.

  4. 18:20

    Hemingway

Head to Hemingway for a cocktail. This bar plays Jazz, Blues, and Reggae, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The service is not the quickest, so take your time with a local beer or a cocktail. It is close enough that the walk is easy.

  5. 19:00

Grand Park along the Artificial Lake

Stroll through Grand Park along the Artificial Lake. The huge trees and open spaces offer a natural contrast to the city lights. It is a popular spot for picnics and relaxation, and the lake reflects the evening sky.

Flower's is open until 20:00, so if you prefer a later dinner, consider Tek Zgara Tirones 2 which stays open until 23:30. Hemingway opens at 18:00, so it will be ready when you finish at the mosaic.
