Drive 16 km north-east of Tenterfield via Naas Street eastbound, turn left/north onto Logan Street, cross through the four-way intersection with Drummond Street and continue ahead on Mount Lindesay Road. Pass Thunderbolt's Hideout on the left. Park near the walking trailhead to Timbarra Lookout.

Head back to your car. The morning light is now perfect for a quiet walk along the trails or a rest at the picnic tables at Timbarra Falls or Woollool Woolloolni Aboriginal Area.
Local tip
There are no facilities at the park. Bring water and warm layers for the early morning chill. Woollool Woolloolni is a place of great significance to the indigenous people, so please treat the site with respect.
