Begin the Bald Rock Summit Walking Track. The path is accessible and offers clear signage. Bring your own water as there is no potable water available on the track; you must boil or treat water if you plan to refill from natural sources, though bringing your own supply is strongly recommended.

Return to the picnic area. Use the free gas or electric barbecues for lunch, but remember to bring your own firewood if you choose the wood-fired option. There are no bins on site, so pack out all your rubbish.
