Things to do with kids in Tel Aviv

1. SeeNorth

   Eretz Israel Museum

   History, archaeology and culture - includes the archaeological site of Tel Qasile, the remains of an early Philistine settlement. In addition the museum has a Planetarium.

2. SeeCenter

   Gan Meir

   A small garden between King George and Chernihovsky streets. A green little corner in the midst of the metropolitan with a cute pond in the center and a small dog park. On some evenings you might see mature people playing kids' games - it's Tel Aviv.

3. DoNorth

   Luna Park

   Tel Aviv's main amusement park. While the rides it has to offer are no competition to ones that can be found in other countries, it should still be considered for a visit by thrill-loving tourists, especially families with kids, since the park has a large amount of child-friendly rides. The park has two rollercoasters.

4. DoCenter

   Metzitzim beach

   Sheraton beach

   Just south of Tel Aviv Port (which has no beach, the waves crash against the wall of the boardwalk). This beach became famous as the setting of the movie Metzitzim (1972). Now it's the most popular destination for families.

5. DoNorth

   Meymadion

   A large waterpark very close to Luna Park. It offers a varied selection of waterslides, both for thrill seekers and for children. Note that during summer vacations the lines get quite long.

6. SeeNorth

   Steinhardt Museum of Natural History

   Opened in summer 2018, mainly aimed at children, various fauna & flora and eco-exhibits.

7. SeeCenter

   Tel Aviv Museum of Art

   The city's main art gallery focuses on modern and contemporary work. Changing exhibitions are housed here, in the Rubinstein Pavilion and in the Amir Building. (Enter via the Amir as the main frontage and entrance are being rebuilt.) The children's basement is great fun and not just for kids. Within the same complex is the Golda Meir Center of Performing Arts, hosting opera, ballet, and theatre (see "Do"). The city library is also here.

8. DoNorth

   Tel Baruch beach

   Sandwiched between the sea and the Sdeh Dov domestic airport, this beach can be reached from its north end (Tsvi Propes street) or south end (Yarkon Park). It is popular with families.
