Timeline
16:38
Pick up fresh bread and pastries for a beach picnic. The bakery opens early, so you can grab supplies before the crowds arrive.
17:28
Walk to Alma Beach. It is the most beautiful beach in Tel Aviv, offering a clear view of Old Jaffa across the water. Note that there is no breakwater here, so the waves are bigger and swimming is dangerous. Find a spot on the sand facing west.
18:08
Watch the sun set toward the west. The golden light from 17:35 to 18:08 paints the sky and the water in warm tones.
18:53
Head to Passador for dinner. It is open until 23:30, making it a reliable spot for an evening meal after dark.
19:53
End the night with a drink at Dancing Camel Brewing Company. As Tel Aviv's only microbrewery, it offers 16 types of hand-crafted beers. Check the route from Passador, as it is open until 01:00 on weekdays.
Local tip
Alma Beach has no breakwater, so stay out of the water if the waves look rough. The view of Old Jaffa is best when the sun is low in the west.
