Check the opening hours before you go. From mid-April through October, the mansion and grounds are open Tuesday through Sunday and holiday Mondays from 10 AM to 5 PM. In November through mid-April, they are open Saturday and Sunday only from 10 AM to 4 PM. Arrive early enough to explore before sunset.
