Timeline
17:18
Grab a seafood dinner at Los Curricanes. The service is fantastic, and the location is just an 11-minute walk from the pyramid.
17:33
Walk to the Piramide de Las Flores. Arrive with enough time to find a good spot on the grounds before the light changes. The site is small, so you will not get lost in the crowds.
18:08
Watch the sun set toward the WSW behind the ancient pyramid. The golden light starting around 17:36 will give the stone a warm glow before the final descent.
Local tip
The pyramid is administered by INAH and has minimal interpretive signage. Bring your own context or guidebook. Los Curricanes closes at 18:45, so finish your meal before heading to the site to ensure you have time to walk and settle in before sunset.
