Arrive at the Bali Butterfly Park. Visit in the early and mid morning when the butterflies are at their most active, so arriving before the heat sets in is ideal. The park is well maintained with spectacular species on show. Check the route from Tabanan town centre, as it is 5 km north on the road to Mount Batukaru.
18:15
Stay inside the park for a drink or snack. The park is open until 16:00, so you cannot buy food or drink inside at sunset time. You must have consumed your refreshment before 16:00. Since the sunset is at 18:15, you need to have finished your snack and drink well before the moment. Plan to leave the park by 16:00 when it closes.
18:45
Be at the viewing spot within the Bali Butterfly Park or its immediate vicinity for the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW. The golden light starts at 17:45. Enjoy the view as the light fades.
19:30
End your evening at the Bali Butterfly Park or head back towards Tabanan town centre. The park closes at 16:00, so you cannot stay inside after sunset. Check the route back to town.
