Timeline

  1. 17:08

    清曲茶事

Sit down for a green tea at Qingqu Chashi. The shop is open until 21:00, so you have plenty of time to relax and watch the afternoon light fade.

  2. 17:33

    The Humble Administrator's Garden

Walk northwest for twelve minutes to The Humble Administrator's Garden. Arrive just before the golden hour peaks. Wander the paths and waterways as the light turns warm and long.

  3. 17:53

    Suzhou Stele Inscription Museum

Head to the Suzhou Stele Inscription Museum. As the golden light hits the ancient stone steles in the former Confucian Temple, the carvings stand out in sharp relief. This is the quiet climax of the evening.

The walk from the garden to the museum is short and easy. If you need a snack before you go, Snow Peak Café near the garden is open until 19:30.
