Walk to Manseok Park. It is a 41-minute walk from Mileukdang, but since you are starting near Gillimseong, just follow the signs to the reservoir. Find a spot on the edge facing west.

Watch the sun dip below the horizon toward the WNW. The golden light starting at 18:31 will paint the water and the old brick walls of the nearby structures in warm tones.

Head back to Gillimseong for a proper dinner. The kitchen is still open, and the atmosphere is lively as locals finish their evening meals.
Local tip
The walk from Gillimseong to the park is straightforward, but wear comfortable shoes as the path around the reservoir can be uneven. Check the route if you are unsure.
