Walk 33 minutes southwest to Mirador Recoleta. Arrive with time to spare to find your spot. The sun sets toward the WNW around 17:59, so the golden light starting at 17:28 will be perfect for watching the sky change color.

Head back toward the park area to Bibliocafe. It is one of the few places in Sucre to serve Taquina Amber and plays classic rock and pop. It serves food and mixed drinks at moderate prices, making it a relaxed way to end the evening.
Local tip
The walk from the café to the viewpoint is 33 minutes. Allow enough time to digest your dinner and enjoy the golden light before the sun dips below the horizon.
