Take a taxi from Sucre to the village of Alegria for Bs. 20, or catch the red 12 micro bus to the last stop for Bs. 1.50. If you prefer, negotiate with the driver to take you all the way to the trailhead.

Walk the remaining 3 km to the waterfalls. Bring your own food, water, towels, bathing suit, and sunscreen as there are no services nearby. Wear sandals instead of shoes for the hike.

Enjoy the waterfalls. The area is perfect for a swim and a picnic lunch in the cool water.

Hike around the falls and enjoy the natural scenery before heading back.
