Timeline

  1. 10:00

    World of Trams Stuttgart

Step inside the 1929 depot at the World of Trams Stuttgart. The museum opens at 10:00 on Sundays, giving you a quiet moment to admire the 36 historic vehicles before the crowds arrive. If you are lucky, you might catch a ride on the metre-gauge museum tram route 23.

  2. 11:00

    Karla21

Walk 12 minutes to Karla21. This neighbourhood shop in Seelberg is a perfect stop for cold drinks, coffee, tea, or cake. It is also a community space with second-hand books and a games corner, offering a gentle pause in the local rhythm.

  3. 11:30

    Rosensteinpark

Head to Rosensteinpark. It is a 26-minute walk from the tram museum (or a short ride from Bad Cannstatt station). Stroll the circuit that passes the natural history museum and the rear entrance to Wilhelma zoo. The park offers a peaceful contrast to the industrial history you just saw.

Local tip

The World of Trams is only open for rides on Sundays. On other days, it is museum only (Wed-Thu 10:00-16:00). Karla21 does not publish fixed opening hours, so check locally if you need a specific time.
