Grab a beer at Kvarnen. This beer hall is popular with Hammarby IF fans and has a wide selection of beers and food at decent prices. It opens at 11:30 on Saturdays, so you will have no trouble finding a seat before the crowd arrives.

Walk up to Katarina Church. The church sits on a hill and is visible from many parts of central Stockholm. Arrive 15 minutes before sunset to find a good spot on the grounds or nearby steps where you can see the tower against the sky.
15:23
Watch the sun set toward the SW. The golden light starts at 13:55 and the sun dips below the horizon at 15:23. The church tower frames the light perfectly as it fades.
15:53
End the evening at Gröne Jägaren. This sport and karaoke bar has history back to 1692. It is open until 01:00, so you can stay as long as you like to warm up after the cold evening air.
Local tip
Kvarnen is a large venue with modern bars in adjoining rooms. If it feels too crowded, move to the older beer hall section for a quieter atmosphere. Gröne Jägaren is a pub, so expect a lively, social environment.
