    Walk from the tavern to Clove Lakes Park. It is an eight-minute stroll south-southeast from the zoo area. Find a spot near the water’s edge where the view opens up to the west.

Local tip

The zoo closes at 4:45 PM, so if you start at the zoo, head straight to the tavern or park before the gates lock. The Burrito Bar stays open until midnight on weekdays, so you have plenty of time for dinner after sunset.
