Stand at the site of Father Rumyantsev’s house. This spot is just a short walk north of the museum. The sun is setting toward the SW, casting long shadows across the area where Dostoevsky once walked.

End the evening with a meal at Cafe Il'men'. It is the best local restaurant outside the hotel. The atmosphere is standard but reliable, and it stays open until 02:00.
Local tip
The walk between the museum and the viewing spot is short. If you prefer a drink over dinner, Il'men' café is also nearby and open late.
Check before you go
- Cafe Il'men' is closed Monday through Thursday until 12:00. Since your plan starts in the late afternoon, this is not an issue.
