    Deano's Bar

Grab a cold beer at Deano's Bar. It is a Stanley institution since the 1990s and a great place to soak up the local atmosphere before the climb.

    Sapper Hill

Walk 39 minutes southwest to Sapper Hill. This 453 ft summit offers panoramic views of Stanley and the harbour. It is named after a troop of sappers once billeted at Moody Brook barracks.

    Sapper Hill

Watch the sun set toward the SW. The sky turns gold and the light fades over the water and the town below.

  4. 21:48

    Victory Bar

Head back down to Victory Bar for hot food and beer. It is located about 10 minutes from the summit area and offers a relaxed end to the evening.

Local tip

Sapper Hill is a steady climb. Wear sturdy shoes. The walk back down is steep, so take your time.
