Local tip

The alignment is specific to late March and late September. Arrive early to secure a good spot on the beach.

Check before you go

  • Bar Citra is open until 20:30 on Thursdays to Saturdays and until 16:00 on Sundays to Wednesdays. Ensure your visit fits these hours.
  • Fort Mose grounds are open daily from 9AM to 5PM. The visitor center has limited hours. The sunset viewing is from the public beach area, so park entry times do not restrict the view.

Worth knowing

  • Sun position is calculated. We have not confirmed the view is unobstructed.
  • Bar Citra is open at 19:07 only on Th, Fr, Sa
