Head to Prospect Hill Monument. The seven-minute walk from the cafe leads you up the tower. Climb it for a great view of Boston and spot the slightly unfamiliar Betsy Ross original flag flying atop the structure.

Local tip
The walk up Prospect Hill is worth the effort for the view. If you prefer a quieter start, arrive at the library or cafe right when they open at 09:00.
