Stand at the Soltauer Mahnmal as the sun dips below the horizon. The memorial faces the setting sun, casting long shadows across the ground where history unfolded.

Local tip
The walk from the bar to the memorial is short and flat. If you prefer a lighter bite, Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht also serves a wonderful brunch on Sundays if you are visiting then.
