    Eat fugu at Yabure Kabure. Look for the big blue and white fugu head out front. Lunch sets start from ¥3100.

    Kaikyō Yume Tower

    Walk up to the Kaikyō Yume Tower observation deck. The glass sphere offers panoramic views over the city and the Kanmon Straits.

    日和山公園

    End the trip at 日和山公園. It is a short walk from the tower and offers a quiet green space to relax.

Local tip

Check the route to Ganryūjima if you want to see the island where the epic samurai duel took place, though it requires a ferry ride from Karato Pier.
