Arrive at Awesome Walls. Find a spot on the ground or bouldering area with a clear view of the eastern horizon. The rock face will catch the first light of day. Arrive early to secure a good vantage point before other climbers.

Walk to La Piazza for breakfast. It opens at 06:00 on weekdays, which is well before the sunrise time of 08:13. Order coffee and a pastry to enjoy while the city wakes up.

Return to Awesome Walls to climb or boulder in the morning light. The venue is open from 10:00 on weekdays, so you will need to check the route for access if you arrive before opening, or simply enjoy the exterior views until then. If you have a membership or arrive after 10:00, this is the time to tackle one of the 300+ routes.
Local tip
The sunrise is at 08:13. La Piazza opens at 06:00 on weekdays, so you can grab breakfast well before the sun comes up. If you plan to climb, remember the walls open at 10:00 on weekdays.
