Timeline

    Graves Park and Animal Farm

Arrive at Graves Park and Animal Farm as it opens. The farm is open from 9AM, so getting there early ensures you see the donkeys, pigs, and alpacas in the morning light before the main crowds arrive. The park itself is open from dawn, but the animal enclosures have specific hours.

  2. 15:45

    Graves Park and Animal Farm

Walk through the 92-hectare park. Spend time on the sports fields or in the woodland areas. The farm is in the north east corner near Hemsworth Rd, so you can easily loop back through the larger park grounds.

  3. 16:45

    Graves Park and Animal Farm

Head to the café inside the park for lunch or a snack. This is the most convenient spot for a break after your walk.

Local tip

The park is open daily from dawn until dusk, but the Animal Farm specifically closes at 3:30PM. Plan your visit to ensure you have enough time to see the animals before they go inside.
