Timeline

  1. 15:02

    Spoilt For Choice

Grab a coffee and a slice of cake at Spoilt For Choice. It is open until 16:30, which gives you just enough time to settle in before the rush.

  2. 15:27

    Park Hill

Walk up to Park Hill. This Grade-II* listed block is a striking piece of brutalist architecture. Keep an eye out for the neon 'I love you will u marry me' sign on the overhead walkways.

  3. 15:57

I love you will u marry me

Head to the 'I love you will u marry me' viewing spot. This is the best angle to see the sun setting toward the SW behind the concrete structures.

  4. 16:47

    The Broadfield

End the evening at The Broadfield. It is a short walk back down from the hill. The pub serves home-made pies and sausages alongside a huge range of local cask ales.

Local tip

Park Hill is on a hill, so wear sturdy shoes. The view is worth the climb, but the walk back down to Nether Edge is steep.
