Timeline

  1. 14:00

    Sheffield Tap

Grab a seat at the Sheffield Tap. With its vast selection of cask, tap and bottle beers and flat screens mercifully absent, it is the perfect place to settle in before heading out. The doors open at 11:00 on weekdays, so you are well within opening hours.

  2. 14:45

    Park Hill

Walk nine minutes east to Park Hill. This Grade-II* listed brutalist block is a Sheffield landmark. Look up to the overhead walkways to spot the famous graffiti message 'I love you will u marry me' which has been displayed for over 15 years.

  3. 15:15

    Cubana Tapas Bar

End your walk back west with tapas at Cubana Tapas Bar. You can enjoy a range of tapas and live Cuban music while waiting for the evening to settle in. It opens at 16:00 on weekdays, so arrive a little early to secure a table or wait for the doors to open.

Local tip

Park Hill is best explored on foot. The walk from the Crucible is short but the hill is steep if you come from the museum side, so stick to the central route.
